Perovskite solar modules can be manufactured in the United States and cost 1/10 of conventional silicon solar cells. This manufacturing process utilizes low-cost equipment that can produce large volumes of high-quality solar cells.  The successful development of an ultra-high-throughput, open-air processing approach for thin film PV modules at the manufacturing scale translates to significant opportunities in other energy devices.
